Dudley wouldn't chew his butt again until The Wrong Stuff. (Not including the theme song.)
In the T.U.F.F Puppy game Unleashed, the Chief's phrase "What's goin' on here?" can be heard when he is activated or used.
This is the first episode of T.U.F.F. Puppy.
Kitty is the first character to speak in this episode, making her the first to speak in the whole series.
Dudley was almost arrested by Kitty for interfering with her capture of Snaptrap.
When Kitty and Dudley were fighting, it was shown as a brother/sister fight moment.
Kitty says in the beginning of the episode "I'd rather use my ten claws!", which is a mistake. This is because she only has eight fingers. This is due to the common form in animation where most characters are drawn with only eight fingers instead of an entire set of ten, like real people. Butch Hartman's another show, The Fairly OddParents, also employs the eight-fingered hand rule. NOTE: In Danny Phantom (another cartoon created by Hartman) the characters are animated with a set of 10 fingers.
In the end of the episode, Dudley is seen wearing a black suit (without pants) and a cape but in the rest of the series, his usual outfit is his plain black shirt.
When we first see Kitty bare footed for the first time, her sole looks like a human-like sole, but after the Chief interrupts her and Dudley's fight, her sole became paw-like like a cat.
