The Very Lonely Lizard is an unpublished pop-up book by The Chameleon that appears in Guard Dog. It is about a lizard (most likely The Chameleon) trying to find a friend, only to end up getting arrested for crimes like shoplifting and loitering. He never finds a friend by the end of the book, which is probably why it was unpublished.

Story

"On Monday, The Very Lonely Lizard went to the mall to make a friend, but he couldn't find one and got arrested for shoplifting. On Tuesday, The Very Lonely Lizard went to the beach to make a friend, but he couldn't find one and got arrested for loitering."

Trivia

The title of the book may be a parody of The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
